These pencils are wood-free and contain 6 times more colour than regular aquarelle pencils. They are thinly coated with lacquer/plastic which delivers 3 advantages over regular wood cased pencils - they are easier to sharpen, they save our precious forests and they offer a generous 7mm diameter colour strip which gives 6 times more colour! Because these sticks are 7mm diameter pure colour sticks, you can apply the colour in broad strokes in a single sweep or in very fine detail using the point. All the colours have a high pigment content and are extremely lightfast. They can be used dry or wet and dissolve quickly and completely in water. Dipping the lead into water can produce exciting results. Availanble in a variety of tin and wooden box sets plus the 72 individual colours.
