What it does
  • Extends the open time of your gel color/medium by 40% so it is blendable and workable for longer
  • Maintains the same level of transparency
  • Thickens and increases viscosity
  • Retains brush/knife marks
  • Ideal for dry and hot climates
How to use it
  • Fully intermixable with all Liquitex products
  • Start by adding up to 25% of Slow-dri to your color/medium with a knife
  • Mix in slowly and thoroughly, and use
  • If you're working over a long period of time, mix into color on the palette to keep it fresh and skin-free for longer
How not to use it
  • As this is an additive – with no acrylic binders - do not add more than 25% to your color/medium and do not mix with other additives. This can cause the acrylic film to break down, leaving it sticky and prone to shrinkage
  • Do not use with any non-acrylic media
